Just 25 miles south of downtown Austin, you will find Central Texas’ ultimate outdoor event venue. Central Texas Speedway is the ideal outdoor venue for racing and live music. Here, rockers play to crowds of 20,000 plus and stock cars zoom around the 3/8-mile asphalt track.
Spectators can step right into the shoes of their favorite racing stars. The Rusty Wallace Racing Experience puts visitors behind the wheel of a real stock car, while The Go Kart Speed school allows people as young as 13 to try their hands at racing Honda GX270–powered karts. Older racers can toast their victories at the onsite Car Bar, or at the Pirate Energy Sand Bar where we have a variety of beers and mix drink specials.Central Texas Speedway is one of the last two, 3/8-mile, asphalt oval, short tracks in Texas, and there’s not one bad seat in the house. The track hosts several classes of cars in extreme side-by-side racing. You'll have the opportunity to get up close to the real action in the general admission bleacher stands, or experience the races in style by booking one of the track’s recently renovated Suites.
Go Kart Racing
Race your friends side-by-side, bumper-to-bumper around the banked oval track. Hitting speeds up to 65 mph, sitting just one inch off the ground, gives you the speed sensation of going 100 mph+. It is guaranteed to be the funnest fastest thing you can do legally!
The Car Bar
The Car Bar is a full bar located in the events garage at Central Texas Speedway. If you’re accustomed to tailgating before and after a race the Car Bar is a great alternate option. It’s home to post race celebrations including the champagne toast for the night’s race winners and is located near the stage where live bands crank it up every night after the races. Stick around after the Stock Car action to meet up with friends and party at the coolest bar in Texas! You won't find this at any other track for miles!
Corporate Events & Team Building
Central Texas Speedway is a great place to host corporate events that focus on Team Building, as well as birthday parties, and fundraisers, with the option of catering, Karting, and trophies for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. You can also book the venue for private events, have it catered, and our stage area enables party hosts to hire a DJ or live band.
