Having opened in late 2009 as a food truck, Franklin BBQ quickly became popular with a line snaking around the block. In March 2011 it opened as a brick and mortar restaurant, and despite their best effort to increase production, the line is as long as ever and they continue to sell out everyday. Franklin BBQ sells the best BBQ in America. The menu features meat by the pound; Brisket ($16), Ribs ($14), Pulled Pork ($13), Turkey ($13), and Sausage ($10). Plates, which include bread and your choice of two sides; 2 Meat Plate ($13), Brisket ($10), Ribs ($10), Pulled Pork ($9), and Sausage ($8). Franklin BBQ also offers Sandwiches; Brisket ($8), Pulled Pork ($7), Turkey ($6), Chopped Beef ($8), (sausage ($6), and the Tipsy Texan($8).
