Circuit of The Americas (COTA) announces the return of Austin’s brightest holiday tradition: Winter Wonderland at The Circuit. The 2nd annual Winter Wonderland at The Circuit will transport guests of all ages to a world of wonder, offering a completely new, immersive, and captivating experience that includes the Chinese Lantern Festival.
The world famous Chinese Lantern Festival, a remarkable display of illuminated hand-crafted sculptures using a traditional technique that extends back centuries, will brighten up guests’ holiday season by allowing them to experience the wonders of illumination and travel through an extraordinary cultural experience. Traditionally held on the 15th day of the first lunar month, this colorful and lively Chinese celebration includes interactive entertainment, immersing guests with the culture, music, arts, and life of authentic China. The lanterns are created using steel frames surrounded by colorful rayon “skins” and illuminated from within by LED lights. It’s a wondrous cultural experience for people all ages!
In addition to the Chinese Lantern Festival, guests will get to experience the Largest Outdoor Ice Skating Rink in Texas as well as festive favorites, including the Tunnel of Lights, trips to the North Pole, Singing Trees, Santa’s Workshop, Live Music, Carnival Rides, and a Petting Zoo. Families can continue enjoying the festival with additional holiday happenings, including the Vendor Village, COTA Express Train Rides, the Bud Light Chalet, Santa Portraits, Camel Rides, and much more.
This holiday spectacular will welcome the young and young at heart to COTA on select dates between November 23 – December 30, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Prices start at $16 and guests age 5 and under will receive free admission. Standard parking is included in the price of the event ticket. The lot you will be parked in will be dependent on arrival. Those wanting to upgrade their standard parking are encouraged to purchase in advance, as they often sell out quickly. We suggest that guests with ADA/DV plates and placards park in Lot B or D.
