About Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live is a unique experience featuring a celebrity guest, a musical act, and sketch, parodies. It is broadcast from studio 8H at NBC's headquarters in the GE Building. You can enjoy two performances of Saturday Night Live every Saturday night September through May, the rehearsal at 8:00 pm and the live show at 11:30 pm. SNL has received numerous awards including 21 Primetime Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and three Writers Guild of America Awards. As the longest running network television show in the U.S. it is no surprise why its made it into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame and named as one of the "Best TV Show of All Time" by Time Magazine.Saturday Night Live is hosted by a celebrity guest including actors, to musician, politicians, and political activist. The host delivers an opening monologue, preforms with the cast in a series of sketches parodying American culture and politics, and announces the musical guest. All of which you can enjoy live from the audience.
