Dick’s is located smack dab in the middle of San Antonio’s ever popular Riverwalk. We occupy the basement (and former laundry room) of the Historic Nix Hospital. Fronted by an exceptional view of the water, we have patio seating year ‘round. Come see why Dick’s has been a legend in San Antonio since the madness began 20 years ago. “This is the joint your mamma warned you about!” So consider yourself warned. It's fun for all and all for fun for those who dare to enter!
About the Menu at Dick’s Last Resort in San AntonioDick's Last Resort delivers mouth watering bites at reasonable prices. We make our food from scratch and it is served to you in a big stainless steel bucket! We've got something on the menu for everyone. We’ve got a couple of salads, some crazy BBQ, juicy honey-roasted chicken, shrimp, ribs, succulent crab legs, salmon, a bunch of delicious sides, and a generous serving of fried catfish... which call for the use of one's fingers rather than silverware. And of course, there’s dessert. Everything on our menu comes with attitude and most items are just a little over $10 with a rack and a half of ribs and king crab items the only thing over $20.
Th Atmosphere at Dick's Last Resort in San AntonioNo white tablecloth here Dick's has always been known for its outrageous, surly, energetic waitstaff who inflict humor upon the guest. Wacky tacky decor and sassy service fills the fun and festive restaurant and bar,the Bartenders ans waitstaff add to the experience with entertaining service. It might be considered a little over the edge for some people but that doesn't mean you wont have fun here. The waiters and waitresses definitely have it in for you, and that crude style of waiting is exactly why people actually come here. Dicks has live music every night and if you've got any talent, you are welcomed to get on stage and sing with the band Dick's makes everyone feel like their temporarily breaking all the rules and getting away with it.
